1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and CasperReady.com ("CasperReady," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to casperready.com and the CasperReady practice platform (the "Service"). Our mailing address is 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. By creating an account, purchasing access, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you have not reached the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms for you. You may not use the Service if applicable law prohibits you from doing so.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, maintain only one personal account, and keep your credentials secure. Accounts and paid access may not be shared, sold, or transferred. You are responsible for activity under your account and must promptly notify [email protected] of suspected unauthorized access. We may require reasonable verification before changing account details or responding to sensitive requests.
4. Plans, purchases, and access
CasperReady offers free access and two paid plans, Starter and Full. Paid plans are one-time purchases, not subscriptions, and do not renew automatically. The current price, currency, included features, and access period are the terms displayed on the pricing page and at checkout when you buy. Stripe processes payments. Taxes may be added where required. You authorize us and Stripe to charge the selected payment method for the total shown at checkout.
Features may require a compatible device, browser, camera, microphone, and internet connection. Except for the 30-day guarantee below and rights that cannot legally be excluded, access is personal and non-transferable.
5. 30-day money-back guarantee
If a paid plan is not right for you, email [email protected] within 30 days of the original purchase and identify the account and purchase. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank and payment-provider processing times may apply. The guarantee applies once per customer and does not cover fraudulent, abusive, or chargeback-related requests. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation, or other consumer right that applicable law does not allow us to limit.
6. Practice scores and educational information
CasperReady provides practice, diagnostics, and AI-generated coaching. Casper has no public answer key, and its real test is scored by trained human raters against a cohort. CasperReady's scores and feedback are independent practice indicators only. They are not official Casper scores, quartiles, percentile or admissions predictions, professional advice, or a guarantee of any test, application, interview, or admission outcome.
AI systems can misunderstand an answer or produce incomplete, inconsistent, or inaccurate feedback. You are responsible for reviewing output critically and deciding how to use it. We may update our rubrics, models, and scoring methods, so practice results from different times may not be directly comparable.
7. Test integrity
CasperReady scenarios are original and model the published Casper format. We do not claim access to real test items. You must not upload, enter, request, solicit, reproduce, paraphrase, sell, or distribute confidential or recalled content from a real Casper test through the Service. We may remove suspected confidential test content and suspend related accounts.
8. Acceptable use
You may not:
- share an account or give another person access to paid content;
- copy, scrape, record, republish, sell, or redistribute our scenarios, feedback, software, or other content except for your personal study;
- use bots, scripts, bulk-download tools, or other automated means to access the Service without written permission;
- bypass access controls, probe for vulnerabilities, reverse-engineer, interfere with, or overload the Service;
- upload malware or content that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or violates another person's privacy or publicity rights;
- record another person without all legally required permissions, or submit content you do not have the right to use;
- misrepresent your identity, use the Service to facilitate cheating, or violate applicable law.
9. Intellectual property and licence
The Service—including its original scenarios, software, design, text, branding, and feedback formats—is owned by CasperReady or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service and its practice materials for your personal, non-commercial study. No other rights are granted.
You retain ownership of answers, recordings, profile images, and other content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, transmit, transcribe, analyze, and otherwise process that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for lawful backups, de-identified information, and records we must retain.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties for functions such as authentication, hosting, AI processing, email, and payments. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply when you use their services. We are not responsible for third-party sites or services we do not control.
11. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Maintenance, security incidents, provider outages, browser restrictions, or circumstances outside our control may interrupt it. We may update, replace, or discontinue features to improve the Service, address security or legal needs, or reflect changes to the published Casper format. We will not materially reduce paid access without a reasonable remedy where required by law.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion by emailing [email protected]. We may restrict or terminate access if you materially or repeatedly violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, misuse payment systems, or threaten the security or integrity of the Service. When practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—will survive.
13. No affiliation
CASPER® is a registered trademark of Acuity Insights Inc. (formerly Altus Assessments). CasperReady is an independent practice platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Acuity Insights or any university program. All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.
14. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted access. We do not warrant that content or AI output is complete, current, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CasperReady and its owners, personnel, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, opportunities, data, goodwill, or admissions outcomes, arising from or related to the Service. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid CasperReady in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including any non-excludable consumer rights.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold CasperReady harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service, your submitted content, or your material violation of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own unlawful conduct.
17. Disputes and applicable law
Before filing a formal claim, please contact us and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. These Terms are governed by the laws that apply under applicable conflict-of-law rules. Claims may be brought in any court that has competent jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections or the right to bring a claim in a forum available to you under applicable law.
18. General terms
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and CasperReady about the Service and replace prior agreements on that subject. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, financing, or sale of the Service. Headings are for convenience only.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, or business practices. We will post revised Terms with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide reasonable additional notice. Continued use after the revised Terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not accept them, you must stop using the Service.
